there was a family from America they wanted to go on a trip to Italy. But they did not want to go on a bus, on a schedule. They wanted to see the real Italy and meet real people and have a guide. Enter our champion, Pina who helped us get around, put up with our desire to eat lots of good Italian food and other wise helped us to feel comfortable in a foreign land.

On our last night in Italy, we tried to find a place to stay on the over-priced and over-booked Amalfi coast. We wanted to be on our own so this day we had left our brilliant guide behind. We managed to rent a little villa and were amazed to see the name on the door. Felt to us like a sign of good luck that our brilliant travel guide had followed us on our journey around Italy.
Pina was our tour guide. She is always confident, well-prepared for every situation, and an all-around great translator. She is fluent in Italian, English, German and French. Pina seems to know someone everywhere we went. She loves to eat sweets like Italian ricotta cheesecake with sultanas and the Cartellate, fried cookies from Apulia dipped in honey and to drink the red Primitivo wine.
Most of all Pina was always looking out for our best interest in every situation. She was our friend and companion in a strange land. I personally do not speak a word of Italian. In short, we missed her when we got home. I hope you will consider her as your personal tour guide.
Pina has worked in the touring industry a long time. Her favorite cities to visit in Apulia are Alberobello, Bari and Lecce. Her favorite city in the Region of Basilicata is Matera. Her favorite cities in Italy are Venice, Rome and Florence She thinks that the Amalfi coast is the most beautiful coast in the world. Having been there I would agree.
While we only needed her assistance during our time in Puglia, Pina is willing to travel throughout Italy and you can hire her for family travel anywhere in Italy.
